Player Spotlight: Luke Lindenmeyer C/O ’22 Tight End

Luke Lindenmeyer is the top Tight End prospect in the state of Nebraska for the ’22 class.

The 6’4 220-pounder certainly has the size to play in a Power 5 conference.

With his twenty-seven catches on the year amounting to 363 yards, he shows that he can stretch the defenses like a Power 5 Tight End as well.

Those numbers equate to 13.4 yards per catch; a first down every time he touches the ball!

He has also hauled in three touchdown receptions on the year.

But don’t think for a moment that those are the end of his stats and accolades!

The junior received the award for Defensive Freshman of the Year in his 2018 season.

In 2019, he received the honor of All-Metro Honorable Mention.

In week six of the 2020 season, he was able to collect the honor of King of the Trenches.

After that award, Coach Blevins, the offensive line coach at his school had high praise to give Luke, saying “this Tight End can flat out block!”

Sounds like Power 5 schools in the future will get a well-rounded Tight End!

Luke certainly has the grades to play next level football, as he currently supports a 4.1 GPA. That hard-work has generated interest from both Yale and Princeton!

Truly impressive to see a young man understand the importance of education!

Luke is also receiving interest in his services from both the Army and Navy football programs.

Lindenmeyer also works hard in the weight-room as well, as he has a squat max of 375 pounds, with a power clean of 275 pounds and a bench press of 250 pounds!

Lindenmeyer works hard on and off the field!

This phenomenal playmaker will blow up soon, in our opinion, so colleges need to jump on the Luke train early, before it leaves the station!

Lindenmeyer is also a part of the My Recruits program that we wrote on in a previous article.
