Player Spotlight: Kaelen Gray C/O ’24 Wideout/Tight End/Defensive End/Linebacker

Kaelen Gray is a fantastic freshman football player for Judge Memorial Catholic High School in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The talented young man is rated as the #1 Athlete in the country for his 2024 class, according to @scout_trout and @CollegeFBToday, both platforms that are on Twitter.

Quite an impressive honor!

Playing virtually every position for the Bulldogs, Gray plays Wideout, Tight End, Defensive End and Linebacker.

Gray truly embodies what it means to be an Athlete.

Standing at 6’2 200 pounds, Gray already has the measurable needed to become a big time college football payer, with plenty of time to grow even more!

Speaking of becoming a college football player, Gray also boasts a 3.5 GPA, which more than qualifies him to be able to play at the next level and shows that he cares about his academics.

Gray also runs an impressive 4.8 in the forty yard dash, which is great for his size and age and he has plenty of time to get that even lower.

In the weight room, Gray works hard as well, as he has a max squat of 300 pounds and he is benching 225 pounds.

While his season is over, he is making the business decision to transfer to Judge Memorial Catholic in hopes of elevating his career.

Outside of all of the obvious attributes and accolades that this impressive young man has earned thus far, I had to know what he believes it is that sets him apart from all of the other players in his class and in the country.

“I strive to put forth 110% effort in everything that I do,” Gray said. “whether it be the field on game days, the practice field during the week, the classroom or the weight-room, I always put everything that I have into it at all times. I’m always ready to go hard at everything that I do.”

“Outside of that, I feel like another thing that I bring to the table, is the fact that I have great field awareness. That allows me to be able to play all of the positions that I play. My mental toughness is also a key attribute that I have and that I bring to the team.”

Very impressive stuff for such a young player on the field!

Gray currently holds one offer from Lincoln University, but with all the things that he can do on the field, we feel like the scholarships will continue to flow in.
