Nick Jordan is a sensational sophomore outside linebacker for Houston County in Warner Robins, Ga.
Jordan currently sits behind a couple of senior outside linebackers that he is learning a great deal from and he feels he will have a breakout junior campaign.
As Jordan and the Bears roll into the playoffs, he likes the chances that they have and hopes for a deep playoff run.
“I think we will do well in the playoffs,” Jordan said. “I feel like we will shock some of those doubters and show the 478 we’re here to stay.”
Strong words from a strong young man.
Despite only being 165 pounds, Jordan is able to squat an impressive 300 pounds already, and he still has plenty of time to grow as he currently stands at 5’10. Jordan also runs an impressive 4.6 in the forty-yard dash.
Don’t let his size fool ya, because Jordan feels like those are just numbers.
“I may be small, but I will play my heart out, that’s no question,” Jordan said. “I am very aggressive with my size. I love it when people tell me that I am too small. All that is to me, is fuel to the fire; it just makes me go harder.”
Sounds like Jordan has a big chip on his shoulder!
Sticking with the same last name, Jordan has a quote that he holds dear to his heart, which is by Michael Jordan. “If you run into a wall , don’t turn around and give up, figure how to climb it!”
What a powerful quote to live by!
So far this year, Jordan has been able to amass seven tackles on the year, but his most impressive stat may be the pick six that he was able to register, showing that he can cover in the pass game in addition to making tackles.
Jordan also works hard in the classroom, as he currently holds a 3.4 GPA, which is more than enough to qualify him for the next level.
Viewers can catch Jordan and the rest of the Bears this Friday as they take on Westlake in the first round of the playoffs.
