Player Spotlight: Antonio Reeves C/O ’21 Linebacker

Antonio Reeves is an outside linebacker for Baldwin High School in Milledgeville, Georgia.

The 6’0, 190 pounder had a sensational senior year for the Braves.

Though the senior season was cut short due to Covid-19 and he only played in 7 games, Reeves was able to make the most of the opportunities that he had.

Averaging over 12 tackles per game, Reeves would complete his senior year with an astonishing 87 tackles in those 7 contests.

The more impressive stat may be that Reeves was able to grab 20 tackles for loss on the year, averaging nearly 3 per game!

Reeves would also add 8 sacks and an interception on the year, showing he can play the run and the pass.

Those impressive stats earned the senior the 4-A Defensive Player of the Year Honors, as well as earning a Player of the Week Honors along the way!

On the field, Reeves would define himself as someone that is fast and able to get to the ball. He also feels that he is a rangy playmaker and he is smart on the field. He also states that his aggressiveness is key in making plays.

Reeves also has a 3.0 GPA in the classroom, which qualifies him to be able to play ball at the next level.

While Reeves does not yet hold any offers, look for someone to pull the trigger on this athletic playmaker soon to add value to their squad!
