Washington plays on both sides of the ball as he is a defensive end and a tight end for the Titans.
Washington proved that adversity cannot slow him down, as he battled back from an injury to play in the last few games of his senior season.
In his shortened senior season of only being able to play in four games, Washington put up great numbers.
The talented playmaker would grab 24 tackles on the season, for 6 tackles per game. Washington also added 6 tackles for loss, in addition to 4 more sacks and 2 passes broken up at the line of scrimmage.
If you want a guy that can get to the football, Washington is your guy!
Standing at 6’7, 225 pounds, Washington has the height to play at the next level, and certainly has the frame to add more weight as well.
In the weight-room, Washington works hard to add to that frame, as he has a current deadlift max of 450 pounds and a max bench of 250 pounds.
In the classroom, Washington takes things as seriously as he does on the field and in the weight-room, as he holds a 3.1 GPA, which is more than enough to play next level ball.
Washington told us that going up against the #4 player in Michigan every day, in Giovanni El-Hadi, allowed him to get better each and every day and proves that he can play at the next level.
Washington currently holds several D-3 offers, most notably from Trine University and Bluffton University. He is also receiving interest from D-2 schools and his recruitment has started to pickup.
With his size and playmaking abilities, we see no reason why those offers shouldn’t start coming in for this talented player!
