The junior playmaker sees time at both wideout and defensive back, but sees the most time on defense.
On the season, the 5’10, 160-pounder would finish with 73 tackles on the year and add 2 tackles for loss. Watson also had 2 PBU’s and allowed an impressive zero catches on the season!
While his season may not have ended the way that he wanted to, it sounds as though Watson took advantage of the opportunities that he had!
“I feel like I am a smart and physical defensive back,” Watson said. “I am very versatile and I have a high football IQ. I am also very rangy and I play well in coverage as a safety.”
In the classroom is where Watson may be the most impressive, as he currently boasts a 3.9 GPA, which is more than enough to qualify for next level football.
While Watson does not have any offers to date, it will be hard for teams to stay away from him with his athleticism and GPA!
