Mailoto plays defensive end for the Lions and is a force in the trenches. While he has not yet played his senior season, there is the hope that a season will happen in early to late February of 2021.
Although Mailoto has not seen the field this year, the 6’3, 260-pounder is excited to get back out there and show coaches what he has to offer for the next level.
“Right now, we are just trusting the process and getting better,” Mailoto said. “Whether we have a season or not, we will not give up; that is not an option.
“For any team that is recruiting me, they are not just getting a football player,” Mailoto said. “I am more than just football. I will bring the best version of me for the community that I go to; I will bring positivity and I will be a great example for others.”
Sounds like Mailoto is a high-character guy!
Mailoto states that he is a kid with a dream to play football, but he knows life does not end after football. He states that he will go above and beyond the limits of being great and helping others.
Mailoto recently received an offer to play for Gila River Hawks and is also drawing interest from Eastern Washington University, as well as having a PWO from the University of Washington.
It will be interesting to see what school lands this impressive playmaker and high-character young man!
