Maxwell plays several positions for the Greyhounds, as he sees time on offense as slot, wideout and tight end. On the defensive side of the ball, Maxwell plays defensive end.
Standing at nearly 6’1 and weighing 227 pounds, Maxwell has great size to play at the next level.
In the weight-room, Maxwell handles business, as he has a current max squat of 315 pounds and a deadlift of 445 pounds!
While his season was interrupted due to Covid-19, he states that there potentially could be a spring football season, and he plans to be one of the most dominant players in his league.
“One thing about me is, I never give up,” Maxwell said. “I have been through some injuries here and there, but I never quit. Even though I’m just under 6’1, I have the strength and the power to dominate guys bigger than me, and I have.
“I also do my part in the blocking game for my team, no matter how big the defender. I also can run any route that is given to me, and I always play through the whistle.”
Maxwell currently holds several offers, including William Penn University.
Maxwell is also a member of the My Recruits program, who will have previously written on, and is one of the top recruiting services in the country. Coach Lou Perrone and his staff do a great job at getting guys recruited, and they are a large reason why Maxwell has gotten so many offers!
