Player Spotlight: Raniell Calvin C/O ’23 Safety/Linebacker/Corner

Raniell Calvin is a standout player for Liberty High School in Peoria, Arizona.

Calvin plays several positions on defense for the Lions, as he sees time at linebacker, safety and corner as needed.

Calvin is just under 5’10 and he is weighing in at 180 pounds, which is already good size for him, and he still has time to grow!

In only four games played this fall, Calvin was able to grab 15 tackles on the year, as well as add 1.5 TFL, showing he can help in run support.

Calvin also scooped up a fumble on the year, while also forcing two other fumbles, showing if you need a turnover, he is your guy!

Calvin currently holds a 2.5 GPA in the classroom, which is enough to qualify him for next level sports, and he has enough time to get that even higher.

In the weight-room, Calvin is a force, as he has a squat max of 385 pounds and a bench press max of 245!

While Calvin does not currently hold any offers, we expect them to come in over the next few years!
