Player Spotlight: David Conner C/O ’22 Offensive Tackle/Defensive Tackle

David Conner is a dominant player in the trenches for Martin Luther King Jr out of Lithonia, Georgia.

Conner plays on both sides of the ball for the Lions, seeing time at both offensive and defensive tackle.

Standing at 6’6, 270 pounds, the rising senior already has great size to play either position, with time to still add weight to his frame.

On the season, Conner finished with 21 tackles, and an astonishing 8.5 sacks in just 9 games, nearly a TFL per game!

In the weight-room, Conner dominates as well, as he has a max squat of 450 pounds, as well as a max bench press of 285 pounds.

Conner feels like his size is what makes him standout as a player, and that most players his size cannot move as well as he can. Conner also stated that he cannot be blocked.

In the classroom, Conner dominates his grades like his opponents, as he has a current GPA of 3.2, which is enough to qualify for the next level.

Conner currently has two offers. One is from Morgan State and the other is from Arizona Christian. It will be interesting to see where this impressive young man ends up!
