Player Spotlight: Jake Trebil C/O ’23 Left Guard/Center

Jake Trebil is a dominant player for Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia, and he is the teammate to Owen Spell, who we have previously written on.

Like Spell, Trebil plays in the trenches, on the offensive side of the ball, and sees time at both left guard and center.

Standing at 6’1, 340 pounds, Trebil already looks like a grown man, and he plays like it as well!

On the season, Trebil finished with an amazing 36 pancakes on the season, paving the way for his quarterbacks and tailbacks to get great field position.

Due to that performance, Trebil was able to be named to the All Region Team for 1-5A football in 2020.

A two-year starter for the Yellow Jackets, Trebil gives opposing defenses fits, as he helps his offense put up yards and touchdowns.

Trebil has accomplished an impressive feat in his career, starting as a freshman and a sophomore, in one of the toughest regions in the state of Georgia.

In the weight-room, Trebil takes care of business, as he has a max squat of 450 pounds, which can attribute to his success in blocking defenders!

With a 3.3 GPA in the classroom, Trebil already shows that he has what it takes to take care of his academics, and will garner interest as a result.

While Trebil does not yet have any offers, it will be interesting to see where this dominant young man will pay once it is all said and done!
