Player Spotlight: Carlos Estrada III C/O ’25 Wideout/Defensive Back

Carlos Estrada III is a phenomenal football player out of the class of 2025 in Arizona, and is undecided on where he will be playing high school football.

Estrada plays for the Team Impact 7v7 program for coach Dave Bagchi, that we have previously written on. Coach Bagchi is a coach that not only cares about teaching players the fundamentals of ball, but also the fundamentals of life!

Estrada played both ways in middle school, seeing time at wideout on offense, and on defense, he played defensive back.

Estrada would finish the final season of his middle school career with over 500 total yards of offense, and dominated defenses, showing he will be a force in high school.

Feeling like he proved himself in 2020, Estrada feels more prepared for the high school level, as a result.

“I was very satisfied with how my eighth grade season went,” Estrada said. “We were able to get 8 games in and in that time, I had over 520 all-purpose yards. Our team finished as one of the top-4 unweighted 14u teams in the state of Arizona.

“Overall, I am pleased with what I was able to accomplish, and I feel as though this season has prepared me more for the high school level, and I am ready for it!”

Knowing that there is stiff competition at the next level, Estrada is doing everything that he can to show he belongs there.

“I feel like I am able to win off of the press every time,” Estrada said. “I also can easily find and create space with my route running skills. I feel like I can win in any one-on-one situations, and I thrive in clutch moments of games.

“I am also a leader on the team, and I bring intensity and passion to the game. I can play both man, and zone coverage on defense, so that helps me when I am asked to play that side of the ball.”

Estrada is also a member of the My Recruits program, who we have previously written on, and is one of the top recruiting services in the country. Coach Lou Perrone and his staff do a great job at getting guys recruited, and it is likely teams will take a chance on Estrada very soon!

With a 3.9 GPA in the classroom, Estrada already understands that he needs to take care of the books, to make it to the college level. This is one young man to keep an eye on, in the coming years!
