Player Spotlight: Tyrese Armstrong C/O ’22 Corner/Safety

Tyrese Armstrong is a rising senior athlete for Shadow Creek High School in Pearland, Texas, and is the teammate of two brothers we have written on, DeJuan Lewis and Donte Lewis.

Armstrong plays on the defensive side of the ball for the Sharks, seeing time at both corner and free safety.

With Armstrong and Lewis manning half of the defensive backfield, the Sharks should have a legit secondary next fall.

Standing at 6’0, 175 pounds, Armstrong has great size for the position, with plenty of time to grow even more his senior year!

Due to an injury last season, Armstrong was unable to get in much action for his junior year, but did register 2 tackles in the game that he did play in. While it is not the season he hoped for, he looks to have a sensation senior season.

With a 3.3 GPA in the classroom, Armstrong could easily qualify for several colleges at the next level.
