Camp Spotlight: BMT Camp Recap

BMT Football wrapped up their camp that they held on March 7, 2021 at Avalon Park in McDonough, Georgia, with several players walking away with MVP Honors by the end of the day.

Some very notable athletes were able to take home some of the hardware above, such as Kris Phillips in the ’22 class, who is a current Michigan State commit. Phillips is a large human being, standing at 6’5, 340 pounds, and is the current starting offensive tackle and a 3-star recruit out of Salem High School in Conyers, Georgia.

Anther notable MVP award winner was Zailen Henry, a class of ’22 linebacker, who currently holds offers from both Tulane and Troy. Henry is a kid that is looking to reel in some big time offers in his senior campaign.

Another MVP from the camp was Dwight Johnson, a class of ’23 linebacker, who already holds an offer from Georgia Tech. Look for more big offers to come in, as this impressive young man is only a sophomore!

One of the top tailbacks at the camp was Naziq Dahniya out of Ola High School in McDonough, Georgia. The 6’0, 210-pounder has great size and he is a part of the ’22 class. He ran for over 500 yards last season, as well as 6 touchdowns.

Another top tailback is Amarion Yarhough out of Dutchtown High School, who checks in at 5’9, 182 pounds and is just a sophomore.

The top wideouts at the camp were Anthony Parker of Ola High School at 5’11, 180 and Raymon Blackmon of Dothan High School in Alabama, who is 5’10, 175 pounds.

The top defensive lineman was Quinton Bance of Norcross High School, who stands at 6’1, 225, and the top defensive back was Tarez Hamilton who is also of Dutchtown High School, standing at 5’11, 185 pounds.

All in all, the BMT Camp ended up being a success, with several big names participating in the camp and many, many young men were able to compete with top talent in the area, to show they are worthy of playing at the collegiate level.

The coaches did a wonderful job in hosting the camp and they were able to do so in a positive and professional manner. Look for BMT Camps to do great things with more camps in the future!

The next BMT Camp will be held on April 18, 2021 in Montgomery, Alabama. The camp will be at Pike Road High School and it will be held from 9am-4pm. The address to the school is 696 Georgia Washington Rd. Early registration is $65 at bmt.football@yahoo.com.
