Player Spotlight: Chase Silva C/O ’22 Quarterback

Chase Silva is a sensational football player formerly of Skyline High School in Longmont, Colorado.

Silva played quarterback for the Falcons, and led his team to an impressive 23-8 record as a starter, in addition to passing for over 6,300 yards with 88 total touchdowns!

Standing at 6’1, 200 pounds, Silva has the size to play at the next level, and with his record and stats, we believe he will be a great addition to any team!

In the weight-room, Silva can handle his own, being able to throw 225 pounds up at least 8 times, as well as running a 4.77 in the forty-yard-dash.

While his season has not yet started, Silva is excited for when the time comes, and he feels he will do great things on the field.

“The season has not started as of yet, but I am excited for it,” Silva said. “The biggest thing that excites me is the competition. I will have the opportunity to showcase my talents against players from all over the country.”

While his numbers on the field and in the weight-room are great, Silva knows he has more to do to standout from other players in the country.

“I feel like what makes me standout, is my ability to make all of the throws on the field,” Silva said. “I also excel in being able to make those throws, while avoiding pressure, and making guys miss.”

Silva is the second player that we have written on with our new partner, Post Grad Recruits. According to their Twitter profile, “We provide Post Grad student athletes a platform to build a athletic and academic resume, which provides them a opportunity to connect with college coaches!” This is certainly a great resource for players that are in search of this type of platform!

In the classroom is where Silva impresses the most, as he has a current GPA of 3.6, which can open a ton of doors for him at the next level.

With offers from Eastern Kentucky, Colorado Mines and Colorado Mesa, it will be interesting to see how many more schools reach out to him, and where he ultimately decides to take all of his talents in the future!
