Omopariola plays on both sides of the ball for the Warriors, seeing time as a tight end on offense, and as a defensive end and linebacker on the defensive side of the ball.
Standing at 6’3, 240 pounds, Omopariola already has the size to play at the next level, with two years to still grow!
Omopariola puts in great work in the weight-room as well, as he has a squat max of 350 pounds, and a bench press max of 250 pounds. He also runs a 4.9 in the forty-yard-dash, and has a broad jump of 106!
While his sophomore season was cut short due to Covid-19, Omopariola did not allow for it to hold him back.
“Although we had a really short season, I was able to do great things on the field. ,” Omopariola said. “I executed the drills and workouts that I had in the off-season, that led up to the season.”
Omopariola told us that he gives his all in every football game, and that proves to be true, as he finished with 25 tackles on the year, with 12 sacks, as well as 3 forced fumbles!
Every player has things that drive them to be successful, and Omopariola is no different.
“Ever since the eighth grade, I have always loved the sport of football,” Omopariola said. “It is the only sport that brings my full energy and potential.
“When I think about playing football at the professional level, I always want to play each game with all my energy, so I can prove to coaches that my imagination about playing football professionally must come true!”
Of all the great things that Omopariola does on the field that is great, what he does off the field, and in the classroom is when he is at his best. With a current GPA of 3.4, he is already generating interest from colleges, as well as attending several camps!
