Playing in the trenches, on the offensive side of the ball, Morley sees time at both the center and guard spots for the Wolfpack.
Standing at 6’2, and weighing in at 275 pounds, Morley has the size to play at the next level, to go along with his versatility.
In the weight-room, the big man handles his own, with his 425 pound max on squat, and a 235 pound max power clean.
Coming off a 6-4 campaign where his team dropped their last three contests, Morley feels as though they had the type of offseason you would like to have, and expect things to be better this fall.
“My team had an amazing offseason, and I believe in this group,” Morley said. “I have confidence in them, and when it comes down to it, I know my brothers will not let me down! I believe in everyone, in all three phases of the game on this team!”
Morley knows that his team have his back, but he also has to have their backs, and he has to do what he can to standout from other players on the field to lead his team.
“I would say my work ethic makes me standout the most,” Morley said. “I work to better myself every day. I go to practice and work hard, and then I go home and work when nobody is watching as well!
“When I go to camps, I soak up as much information as I can, and then after, I always make sure to ask my position coach how I can get better.”
The most impressive thing about Morley is likely his GPA in the classroom, which currently sits at a 3.86 weighted score, proving he is a guy that knows the importance of academics.
